The mixtape, out now
Dreams of a Ghetto Child is the new mixtape from Nigerian hip-hop artist I_am_Iceberg, released through his independent label, ICE ENT.
Rooted in struggle, ambition, resilience, and the realities of growing up with limited opportunities, the project tells the story of a young man who refuses to let his circumstances define his future. Through raw storytelling, introspection, and hard-hitting hip-hop, I_am_Iceberg transforms personal experiences into a soundtrack for anyone chasing a dream against the odds.
Released September 11, 2026 — on I_am_Iceberg's birthday.

The philosophy
An iceberg shows almost nothing above the waterline. What people see — the bars, the hooks, the finished record — is a fraction of what it took to get there. The rest is the struggle, the failures, the discipline and the ambition that never make it to the surface. Composure up top. Pressure underneath. That's the name, and it's the work.
Okwu Chukwuebuka Geoffrey Gabriel records as I_am_Iceberg — a hip-hop artist out of Enugu, Nigeria, building an independent catalogue on his own label, ICE ENT. The name isn't a costume. It's a way of describing how much of the work never shows: the writing that gets scrapped, the years before anyone was listening, the discipline that doesn't photograph well.
The sound sits in cold, methodical flows over cinematic, ambient trap — records built for repeat listens rather than a single loud moment. Iceberg writes from struggle and from ambition in the same breath, treating both as material rather than image.

Building from Enugu. For the world.
ICE ENT is the independent label and creative platform founded by I_am_Iceberg, built around authentic hip-hop, African urban music, storytelling and artist development. Right now, it's home to two artists doing the work to build something bigger.
